CENTRAL MIXERS

The CEMCO Model 240/340 Central Mixer is a fully portable 10-yard output mixer capable of handling the most demanding mixes. This unit is ideal for any central mix application; however, as with most central mixers, it does exceptionally well at low slump paving mixes that are then charged into dump trucks.

The Model 240 mixer can be set up in 1-2 hours with two people and can be paired with most dry batch plants. The Model 240 central mixer has a charge hopper that is very similar to a ready mix truck, but larger. The Model 340 central mixer is functionally the same as the Model 240 with one exception. The Model 340 is designed for a “direct feed” charge from the batch plant which reduces the expected charge time and thus increases production.

+ SELF-CONTAINED

The mixer requires no outside power source.

Standard equipment:
350 HP John Deere diesel engine

30 CFM engine-mounted piston compressor
- This compressor is not required by the mixer, but serves as a backup to the plant
10 yard output drum capacity
Hydraulically driven drum rotation which allows for the drum to rotate in reverse for easy end of day cleanup
- Hydraulically trolleys and tilts - can be automated or manually run

+ MOBILE

The mixer ships as one complete load pulled via fifth wheel. In addition, the power pack comes standard on a gooseneck style trailer that can be pulled by a ¾ ton or larger pickup truck.

+ EASY SETUP

From the time the mixer is dropped off, two people can easily set the entire mixer up in less than one hour. If the mixer is part of a Cemco Model 340 paving package which includes plant, auxiliary silo, and feed conveyors, the entire setup can be completed with two people in less than one day.

+ QUALITY CONTROL

Every Cemco mixer goes through a 2-3 day quality control process in which a single employee completes a thorough, operational checklist. The mixer will be run on full speed for one day and temperatures will be taken on the drive system to ensure that load is properly balanced before being released for shipment.
